Website forms
If you join early access or contact us, we collect the information you submit so we can provide updates or respond. These forms are processed server-side and stored in our protected Supabase backend.
Website analytics and cookies
SpiritLed.app uses Google Analytics Advanced Consent Mode. Before you accept analytics, analytics cookies and advertising signals remain disabled, but Google may receive limited cookieless signals about consent status and page measurement. If you consent, Google Analytics also helps us understand page views, general interactions, browser and device categories, and approximate geography. We disable advertising signals and do not send form entries, email addresses, messages, journals, dreams, prayers, chats, or other private reflection content to website analytics. You can reject analytics or change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer.
Local encryption
SpiritLed.app is being designed to encrypt journals, dreams, prayers, Guide conversations, insights, and other private reflections before they are stored on your device. Encryption turns readable content into data that requires the correct encryption key to unlock.
Encryption keys and recovery
The key used to unlock private reflections is designed to be protected separately using device secure storage, such as iOS Keychain. Your recovery phrase can restore access to the encryption key. Protect that phrase carefully. SpiritLed.app cannot restore encrypted content without the required key and an available encrypted backup.
Encrypted backup
If you enable backup, SpiritLed.app is being designed to transmit and store encrypted data rather than ordinary readable journal text. The backup server stores the encrypted version for restoration. Backup availability and limits may depend on your plan, and final plan details will be published before launch.
AI-assisted reflection
Supported Plus features are planned to run on-device without sending entries to a cloud AI model. Premium cloud features require selected content to leave the device temporarily for processing. SpiritLed.app will explain what needs to be processed and ask for your consent first. Before launch, we will document which providers process content and how long they retain it. AI responses are optional prompts for reflection. They are not spiritual authority, identity correction, or a declaration about what God is saying.
Sensitive personal reflection
Your questions, changing beliefs, identity, sexual orientation, gender identity, experiences of religious harm, and personal boundaries can be deeply sensitive. SpiritLed.app is designed to treat this material as private reflection content and not as something to judge or “fix.”
Your controls
App users can use an app lock or biometrics, choose whether to use backup or cloud features, export or delete selected data, and initiate complete account deletion in Settings. If you cannot access the app, follow the verified support route on our data deletion page. You can unsubscribe from marketing updates using the link in an email.
Limits of encryption
Encryption helps protect stored and backed-up content, but no digital system can eliminate every risk. Someone with access to an unlocked device, exported readable files, screenshots, a recovery phrase, or content you deliberately submit to a cloud feature may be able to read that information. Protect your device, recovery phrase, exported files, and account access.
